BECOME A SKYDIVER?
The AFF course is a globally recognized training method for earning a skydiving license. It helps beginners develop freefall and canopy skills under expert guidance. INCLUDED IN YOUR COURSE & WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
Master essential skydiving skills including canopy control, freefall stability, and critical emergency procedures through our comprehensive AFF program. Your journey begins with 6-8 hours of intensive ground school covering skydiving theory and safety protocols.
Progress through 8 structured levels with 1 jump per level, each followed by a detailed video review session to analyse and improve your technique. Two qualified licensed instructors accompany you on every jump, ensuring personalized guidance and maximum safety.

WHAT WILL MY DAY BE LIKE DURING THE AFF COURSE?
Your AFF adventure takes place at the Swakopmund Dropzone.. Each training day follows a structured schedule: morning ground school sessions build your knowledge, followed by afternoon jumps putting theory into practice. Every jump concludes with thorough debrief and video review sessions.
Come prepared with comfortable clothing, sneakers, water bottle, and sunscreen for the Namibian climate. Friends and family are warmly welcomed at the dropzone.
EMERGENCY TRAINING & SAFETY PROCEDURES
Comprehensive emergency training covers malfunction procedures, cutaway protocols, and reserve deployment techniques. FAQs
WHAT REQUIREMENTS DO I NEED TO DO THE AFF COURSE?
Be medically fit, ages of 18 years old and above and no more than 110kg in weight.
What if i fail a level?
Don’t worry! You can repeat any level as needed with full instructor support until you’re ready to progress.
IS THE GEAR I’LL BE USING REGULARLY INSPECTED?
Yes, all gear is regularly maintained and inspected in line with USPA regulations and safety standards. Every piece of equipment undergoes thorough checks by qualified riggers and instructors to ensure it’s in top condition before each jump, so you can focus on learning and enjoying your skydive with peace of mind.
Can I do AFF if I'm afraid of heights?
Yes! Instructors guide you safely through each step. Most students find the fear turns into exhilaration once in freefall.
How fit do I need to be?
General good health is required. You don’t need to be an athlete, but some cardio fitness helps. Always consult your doctor if unsure.
What happens in bad weather?
Jumps may be rescheduled due to low clouds, fog, or strong winds. Ground school and theory sessions continue, and you’ll jump as soon as conditions improve.
Can I gain experience in a wind tunnel?
While optional, wind tunnel training is highly recommended to practice body position and freefall control before jumps.
Can I really get AFF certified in under two weeks?
In ideal conditions, many students complete their AFF certification within two weeks. However, skydiving is weather-dependent, and individual progress varies. Strong winds, cloud cover, or the need for extra training jumps may extend the timeline.

Static Line Course
The Static Line Course offers a budget-friendly introduction to skydiving. This one-day program includes 6 hours of ground training covering equipment basics and canopy control.
When it’s time to jump, a static line attached between you and the aircraft ensures your parachute opens automatically at 3,000 feet after aircraft exit. What follows is a solo canopy flight and radio guided landing back to safe ground.
